Comcast employees recently made change happen by teaming up with The Shyann Kindness Project on their backpack and school supply drive, which ran through August 11.
Children around the state are heading back to school this month, and The Shyann Kindness Project (TSKP) is determined to help kids and teens start off the academic year equipped with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Donated school supplies will be given out during TSKP’s upcoming Backpack Night and throughout the year at their monthly Kindness Gift Giving Events.
Comcast employees throughout Tucson pitched in to donate hundreds of notebooks, folders, crayons, markers, glue sticks, highlighters, erasers, pencils, and pens to the drive.
Whether it is thru local community events like TSKP’s school supply drive, our Internet Essentials program or our Leaders and Achievers Scholarship program, it is import to us that we are a part of our local community and that we do what we can to lessen the burden of educational hardships on families.
