Comcast is contributing $15,000 to the United for Southern Arizona COVID-19 Fund hosted by the United Way of Tucson of Southern Arizona – a partner we work closely with year-round to support the communities where we live and work.
The fund provides resources to organizations across Southern Arizona to support families with essential supplies and services. The fund will support food and baby formula access, diapers and essential health supplies, rental assistance, utility shortfalls, childcare, and other critical services and resources to stabilize families.
Comcast’s generous contribution to the United for Southern Arizona COVID-19 Relief Fund is going directly toward helping local individuals and families in our community during this crisis. Never has the need been greater for the most vulnerable people in our community. United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, in conjunction with our community partners, will utilize Comcast’s donation to quickly help support children, families and older people with what is essential right now including: food access and baby formula, diapers and essential health supplies, rental assistance, utility shortfalls, childcare and other critical services and resources to stabilize families. Your support has come at a crucial point to help alleviate the financial hardship many are facing today. Thank you, Comcast, for stepping up above and beyond your annual campaign during this time of need to help us all live united!”
