In spring of 2016, Comcast was thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of a new 100,000-square-foot call center in Tucson.
“The state-of-the art facility will house more than 1,100 employees providing support for Comcast residential products and services, including Spanish-speaking employees who specialize in customer service online and through social media channels,” said Joe Snell, president and CEO of Sun Corridor Inc.
At least 15 percent of the new positions are being filled by reservists, veterans and their spouses or domestic partners. The company is hiring at jobs.comcast.com.
“Comcast’s new presence will bring a $385 million total economic impact to our region through the creation of thousands of new direct and indirect jobs, payroll and capital investment,” said Snell.
The new site contains innovative Xfinity product training labs, employee cafeterias, a fitness center, amphitheater-style meeting rooms and much more.
